Jeffrey S. Stein
Mr. Stein is an accomplished corporate executive and director with more than 30 years of experience in the distressed and special situations market. He has served in various capacities, including as a CEO, CRO, Executive Chairman, Liquidating Trustee and as a Director for more than 30 public and private companies and has developed a track record of steering companies from distress to stability across multiple industries. Mr. Stein currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: AMBC) and recently served as the CEO and CRO of Rite Aid Corporation.
Peter Laurinaitis
Mr. Laurinaitis is a deeply experienced advisor with more than 30 years of transactional experience in financial restructuring, capital raising, M&A, special situations, and turnarounds. A former partner at both PJT Partners and Blackstone for more than two decades, he has played a key role in the restructuring of more than $100 billion in liabilities and the raising of several billion dollars in fresh capital across 60 corporate clients. Mr. Laurinaitis also served as a CPA and turnaround consultant at Arthur Andersen, and is an independent director at FirstElement Fuel, Inc. and Solo Brands, Inc. (NYSE: DTC).
Mr. Stein and Mr. Laurinaitis founded Breakpoint Partners with a shared mission: to design and implement value-maximizing strategies in collaboration with management, boards, and key stakeholders.
